Job Description The role of Field Engineer (Australia) is to safely carry out onsite diagnostic services as part of the Tracerco Diagnostic Services business unit primarily in the Oil, Gas and petrochemical industries. Reporting to the Engineering Manager (APAC), based out of the Perth office and working either as team leader or individually on client locations worldwide, both onshore and offshore. Job Requirements HNC/Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering 3-5 Years Field Experience Radiation Safety Officer Appointment Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages Ideally hold current Offshore Medical Certificate/BOSIET Familiar with industrial instruments and computer systems Job Responsibilities • Conducting diagnostic investigations and services using Tracerco techniques on client processes and process equipment • Liaise with customers and seek to resolve all queries within a specific timescale. • Perform maintenance and function testing of Tracerco equipment to be used in field. • Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health & safety regulations and quality standards. • To Adhere to all Tracerco policies and procedures • Preparing and completing job work packs, commissioning check sheets and project completion reports • Carry out fault finding and troubleshooting techniques to resolve client queries. • Packing, labelling, and consigning of dangerous goods ensuring all applicable legislation is adhered too. • Packing, labelling, and consigning of equipment for project scopes. • Maintaining the Radioactive source database and associated documentation in compliance with all Tracerco Policies and Procedures. • Perform Radiation Compliance Audits of customer systems. • Investigating faults of existing installations • Providing support to other business units when required. • Leading individuals or a team of engineers on larger projects, promoting safe working and ensuring compliance is adhered to. • Must be mobile as over 50% time can be expected to be on site (including international/offshore locations) • Extended working hours/on-call/stand-by/shift work as required (reasonable) • Ability to work at height and onboard sea going vessels.
