Description About the Role: Due to rescheduling recently undertaken, Kent Projects requires additional Blue-Collar resources from February to undertake discrete work scopes/packages on the Ampol Future Fuels Project in Lytton. In this vital role as an Electrician, you will ensure the successful installation and commissioning of electrical systems, strictly adhering to local building codes and safety regulations. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality, and competent electrical services in line with project and company requirements, standards, and procedures. Working under general supervision, you will perform a range of commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on various equipment, contributing directly to the timely and successful delivery of company goals and project schedules. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with the site cardinal safety rules and with all safety aspects in the execution of work Ensure procedures and permits are followed safely Commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of MCC's, VSD’s, Distribution Panels, Motors, Lighting and small power Inspect, test, adjust and commission equipment to satisfy appropriate governing standards. Demonstrate high-quality fault-finding skills and the ability to troubleshoot autonomously. Liaise with other discipline teams to undertake commissioning and start-up activities safely. Perform electrical equipment testing and monitoring Perform electrical isolations / deisolation’s of equipment Maintain commissioning records through CCMS generated FTR’s and Dynamic Commissioning Procedures. Provide technical advice on all electrical equipment. Install, test, and maintain a variety of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems, while adhering to project plans and blueprints. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, identify the root causes of issues, and undertake effective repair & maintenance procedures to minimise downtime. About You: Our ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or an internationally recognised equivalent, along with current electrical tickets. Experience in live brownfield environments such as oil refineries, petrochemical facilities, power stations, or LNG sites, as well as familiarity with LOTO and Permit to Work systems, will be considered advantageous.
