Fieldwork such as soil, soil vapour, surface water and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight, soil vapour and groundwater well installation, and remediation treatment system operation and maintenance; Chemical data and contaminant fate & transport evaluation; Groundwater and soil remediation evaluation, cost estimation, design calculations, and implementation; Environmental due diligence and Phase 1 environmental site assessments; Data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures; and Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals. Bachelor's degree in environmental/civil/chemical engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field of study. (required) Advanced degree in a related field of study (desirable but not essential) At least 1-3 years of environmental consulting experience Prior research experience in contaminated media or remediation technology. (desirable) Experience with ArcView, Microsoft Access, Modflow, leapfrog and/or EVS. (preferred) Regular field work and overnight travel. (required) Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing.
