Site: FMG Site (FIFO – WA) Employment Type: Casual Shutdown Duration: Shutdown – February to early March We are seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters and Concreters to join our team for an upcoming FMG shutdown project . This is a high-paying, short-duration opportunity with excellent hourly rates and nightshift uplift. Project Overview Pre-works commence: 1st February Shutdown duration: 10 days Post works complete: 3rd March Swing Details: 1st Crew: Fly out 4th February 1 week day shift 1 week night shift (25% uplift) 2nd Crew: Fly out 11th February Post works: Covered by available personnel from Crew 1 Scope of Work Concrete and formwork works Pouring concrete Forming slabs and walls Steel fixing Core drilling Mixing and pouring grout Wash down of fixed plant Manual labour tasks Spotting duties Rates: Carpenters $70/hr - $78/hr depending on experience Concreters $65/hr - $70/hr depending on experience We also have opportunities for Operators on this shut. Night Shift: 25% uplift Superannuation: 12% on all hours worked Paid Hours: Typically 11.5 hours per shift 5:30am – 5:30pm (or night shift equivalent) Roster & Pay Roster: 2-week shutdown 1 week days / 1 week nights Pay Cycle: Weekly Pay period: Monday – Sunday Timesheets due Sunday Paid Wednesdays Requirements Relevant experience in formwork and/or concreting White Card FMG Inductions Required: 12 x online inductions 1.5-hour face-to-face induction in Perth City Tickets & Licenses: Trade qualifications RII machinery tickets if operating equipment Relevant HR Driver’s License (if required) Why Apply?
