Your Next Role As a Truck Driver at Express you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods while adhering to all road transport regulations. This role focuses on timely deliveries, securing loads correctly, and a commitment to safety and professionalism at all times. All our people go home in the same condition they came to work; safety before production. All load restraint procedures are followed to ensure secure and compliant transport. Deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company and customer expectations. Vehicles are operated safely and within legal requirements, including fatigue management compliance. Perform pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure the truck is in roadworthy condition before each trip. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and compliance documentation. Work collaboratively with warehouse teams, dispatch coordinators, and customers to facilitate smooth logistics operations. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping around loading/unloading areas and within the vehicle. Follow all company policies and procedures, including fatigue management, chain of responsibility, and compliance with national heavy vehicle regulations. About you Experience in operating Multi-Combination (MC) vehicles with an excellent driving record and valid MC Licence. Experience in load restraint and transport regulations. Depending on the role/area there will be the requirement to work varying rosters/shifts/rotating shifts. Experience in warehouse operations and transport logistics is highly regarded. Ability to follow induction and compliance procedures. Ability to work as part of a team is essential, strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously when required.
