Synergie is seeking either a Diesel Mechanic, or a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to carry out maintenance, repairs and servicing of prime movers, trailers and civil equipment. T his permanent role offers flexible start times and the opportunity to work with a close-knit team dedicated to quality and safety. What’s in it for you: Permanent, full-time position with stable hours (9-hour days, Monday to Friday) and optional Saturdays. Competitive pay rate of between $45 - $55p/h penalties. Supportive small-team culture focused on craftsmanship and safety. Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on diesel-powered heavy vehicles and equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues. Carry out detailed inspections, testing, and servicing to identify and address problems. Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used. Servicing on Prime Movers, Trailers and Civil Equipment. What we’re looking for: Formal qualifications in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics. Extensive experience (3 years) in the repair and maintenance of diesel-powered heavy vehicles and equipment. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
