As Housing Lead, you’ll manage and deliver housing projects that influence policy and improve outcomes for people with disability. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll engage with members, stakeholders, and government to ensure housing solutions reflect rights, choice, control, and inclusion. Other responsibilities include: Leading the housing team and implementing the housing workplan Managing projects, timelines, budgets, and risks Driving member engagement strategies and facilitating workshops Researching and analysing housing policy and legislation Producing high-quality content for reports, submissions, and communications Building strong relationships with government, community, and industry stakeholders You will bring the following: Strong knowledge of housing issues, policy, and legislation Proven project management and leadership experience Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders Experience in disability, housing, or human services sectors is highly desirable To succeed in this role, you’ll need a Positive Exemption Notice (Yellow Card) and a current Police Check, with a Driver’s Licence considered desirable.
