Tradelink Mitcham is on the hunt for a driven 2IC / Plumbing Sales Specialist to lead from the front, support the Branch Manager, and help shape the next stage of growth for a busy, high-performing branch. You’ll be the trusted right-hand to the Branch Manager, bringing leadership presence, strong plumbing knowledge, and a sales-driven mindset to keep the branch performing at its best. Your new role Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll play a critical role in the day-to-day leadership, sales performance, and operational success of the branch. You will: Drive trade sales through strong customer relationships, account management, and proactive sales activity Provide expert plumbing product advice to trade and retail customers Support and guide the branch team, leading by example on the counter and on the floor Support the Branch Manager to ensure the branch operates smoothly day to day Build and grow customer accounts through outbound calls and local business development Support branch operations including orders, deliveries, stock management, and trade promotions Help create a positive, energetic, and accountable team culture This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading people while actively driving sales results . What you’ll bring Strong plumbing wholesale experience or expert plumbing product knowledge A natural leadership style with the confidence to support and influence others A sales-oriented mindset with the ability to convert relationships into results Strong communication skills and credibility with tradespeople A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to step up Career ambition and a desire to progress into long-term leadership Sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
