Due to ongoing operational requirements, we are seeking a trade-qualified Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to be embedded at a client site in Orange Grove. This role will act as the primary maintenance resource on-site, working closely with the client's maintenance team to deliver preventative maintenance strategies, plant inspections, and shutdown support. About the Opportunity This position is a site-based, embedded role responsible for both hands-on mechanical maintenance and higher-level maintenance planning activities. You will work Monday to Friday on day shift, with additional shutdown support typically scheduled bi-weekly. You will also oversee and coordinate supporting Minprovise maintenance teams during planned works. This role suits a Mechanical Fitter with strong plant exposure who is comfortable working autonomously while maintaining close collaboration with site stakeholders. Responsibilities Execute planned and breakdown mechanical maintenance activities Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies Conduct total plant and asset inspections with reporting Identify component wear trends and plant improvement opportunities Coordinate and supervise supporting maintenance teams during shutdowns Assist with shutdown planning and execution Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records Promote and uphold Minprovise and client safety standards Qualifications / Skills / Experience Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification Experience in manufacturing, quarry, or heavy industrial environments Strong understanding of plant maintenance and shutdown activities Supervisory or leading-hand experience Ability to work independently as a site-embedded resource Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Commitment to safety and compliance Who we are MINPROVISE is a specialist products, engineering and services company providing expert support to the mining, oil & gas and construction industries.
