About the role Mater Private Hospital Springfield is seeking a compassionate and clinically capable Registered Nurse to join the Preadmission / Outpatients Clinic on a part-time (16 hours per week), permanent basis. Based at Mater Private Hospital Springfield, this role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across the preadmission and outpatient setting, supporting patients and families throughout their care journey. Salary range: $41.73 - $53.53 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 access to many staff benefits! What you’ll be doing In this role, you will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care while contributing to a positive patient experience and strong multidisciplinary collaboration, including: Delivering comprehensive nursing care, including patient assessment, care planning, evaluation, and discharge planning Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal clinical outcomes Acting as an advocate for patients and their families, providing education and support Identifying variances in care and implementing appropriate evidence-based interventions Practising in accordance with professional, ethical, and legal standards and Scope of Practice Supporting continuous quality improvement, risk management, and workplace safety initiatives Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting operational and budgetary objectives within the unit About you You are a motivated and patient-focused Registered Nurse who values teamwork, quality care, and professional growth.
