About the Role Procare’s Investigations Division is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Eligibility Investigator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with backgrounds such as mental health nursing, psychology, complaints handling or similar roles requiring strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under time pressure. Based at our Alexandria Head Office , you’ll be supported with comprehensive training and development to build a rewarding career in the insurance investigations industry. Key Responsibilities: Investigate eligibility matters referred by clients, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes. Conduct thorough reviews of information and evidence to determine eligibility, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required. Manage a high-volume caseload effectively, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. Provide clear, concise, and professional written reports detailing your findings and recommendations. Handle sensitive and confidential information in line with privacy and compliance requirements. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: A background in mental health nursing, psychology, legal, criminology, complaints handling or similar fields (highly desirable). Have or willing to obtain a Certificate III in Investigations and a Class 2E Investigator licence (mandatory). Experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with strong time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate findings clearly and professionally. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
