About the Role This Senior Contracts Administrator role plays a critical part in ensuring contracts deliver value, remain compliant and achieve intended commercial outcomes. You will take ownership of contract governance across the full lifecycle, providing strategic and operational guidance while supporting procurement and delivery teams. The position also offers leadership responsibilities, with accountability for mentoring and guiding contract administration staff in a complex stakeholder environment. Senior Contracts Administrator – $520/day super Location: Hybrid working arrangement, Sydney CBD, 2-3 days WFH Start Date: January 2026 Duration: 12-month contract, with potential for extension Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Develop and implement contract management plans aligned with sourcing documentation, approved procedures and organisational standards Monitor contract performance, analyse outcomes and address underperformance to ensure agreed objectives are met Maintain accurate and complete contract records, ensuring governance and reporting requirements are upheld Provide specialist advice on contract interpretation, variations, disputes and administration matters Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support delivery and resolve issues proactively Identify, manage and report on commercial, financial, operational, ethical and supply chain risks Support audits, reviews and compliance activities related to contract performance Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across contract management frameworks and processes Lead, coach and develop contract administration staff to ensure high-quality service delivery About You Demonstrated experience in senior contract administration or contract management roles within large or complex organisations Strong understanding of contract governance, performance management and risk mitigation Proven ability to provide clear, practical advice to senior stakeholders and procurement professionals Experience managing supplier relationships and resolving contractual issues in a structured environment Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills Experience leading or mentoring team members is highly regarded Proficiency with contract management systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, law, procurement or a related discipline are desirable Valid Australian working rights are required, with no sponsorship available.
