Yoga Lead | The Sanctuary | Club Coops There are studios that add yoga. And then there are studios designed around it. In 2026, Club Coops is introducing, The Sanctuary, a collection of beautifully considered mind–body spaces devoted to Stillness, Movement and Reformer. Each studio has its own rhythm, energy and intention. Together, they create a place where members slow down, reconnect, and move with purpose. We’re now seeking a Lead Yoga Instructor to help shape this next chapter. This is not a volume-based role. It’s a leadership position for a teacher who sees yoga as a craft, a responsibility, and a form of quiet influence. The Role As Yoga Lead, you’ll support the Head of Mindbody & Wellness while remaining deeply connected to the studio floor. You’ll teach, mentor, guide standards, and help create a consistent, elevated yoga experience across The Sanctuary. This role blends: High-quality teaching Thoughtful leadership Mentorship and team support Contribution to programming and standards You’ll act as a bridge between instructors and leadership, setting the tone, modelling excellence, and helping teachers feel supported, confident and aligned. What You’ll Be Doing Deliver exceptional yoga classes aligned with The Sanctuary’s philosophy and pacing Model best-practice cueing, sequencing and student experience Mentor and support yoga instructors through feedback, check-ins and guidance Support onboarding and development of new teachers Assist with maintaining teaching frameworks, standards and consistency Contribute to workshops, events and special programming Help cultivate a calm, welcoming, deeply considered studio atmosphere Who This Is For You’re likely someone who: Has 3–5 years of studio-based yoga teaching experience Holds a 200-hour YTT (500-hour or advanced training preferred) Has mentored other teachers or stepped into a senior/lead role before Communicates clearly, kindly and confidently Values consistency, professionalism and integrity in teaching Cares deeply about student experience and team culture Time Commitment & Structure Total: approx. 8–15 hours per week Teaching: 4–8 classes per week Leadership & support: 2–4 paid non-teaching hours Meetings & collaboration: 1–2 hours weekly or fortnightly Leadership time is scheduled, defined and paid. Remuneration Senior instructor teaching rate Additional leadership hourly rate or weekly allowance Role reviewed every 6–12 months as The Sanctuary evolves This isn’t about filling classes.
