Footwear Buyer New Zealand based This is the role for you if… You’re a strategic, brand-led, commercially sharp footwear buyer who wants scale, ownership and influence! A rare, high-autonomy role with true commercial ownership. This is a unique opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of the largest category within a nationally recognised, well-capitalised retail group. You’ll effectively operate as the mini-GM of a third of the business, with the opportunity to build, grow, and shape the branded footwear offering across all genders and ages! What You’ll Be Doing: Own the end-to-end branded footwear category, including strategy, OTB, range build, trading, pricing and P&L outcomes. Build compelling, data-led assortments informed by global trends, customer insight and competitive analysis. Develop and negotiate strong vendor partnerships, securing the right pricing, terms, exclusives and brand support. Drive in-season performance, managing stock flow, replenishment, markdowns and trading decisions across a multi-store network. Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, supply chain, marketing, ecommerce and retail operations to deliver launches and campaigns. Identify new brand and category opportunities, staying ahead of global innovation and bringing new concepts into the market.
