The Role We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance / Handyman who enjoys variety and is a positive, driven individual wanting to work within a growing business. This position offers stable Monday to Friday This is a field-based role, working across commercial and retail sites, supporting both planned maintenance and fit-out works. No two days are the same, but the standards are always high. Our goal is to deliver both employee satisfaction and outstanding customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Position best suited to a candidate living in Sydney • Position best suited to someone with trade experience • Fulfill the role as a site installer/site supervisor and carry out maintenance tasks • Managing the day-to-day requirements on site and working with the Maintenance Manager and Coordinators to complete maintenance tasks and minor works projects. • Reporting each job/project and completing the project lifecycle where applicable • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Directors to grow the Project and Maintenance Departments • Assist with the requirements of each maintenance and minor works project from receiving direction from the client, engaging our contractors and reporting the outcome and issues directly to the client. • Assisting projects managers with any administration requirements of projects • Carrying out tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager and Project Managers • Support retail and commercial fit-out projects, including minor installations and finishes • Perform carpentry, patching, fixing, adjustments, and general handyperson tasks • Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner • Conduct preventative maintenance to help keep sites compliant and operational • Monitor product standards and implement quality control measures and program • Read basic plans, scopes, and instructions accurately • Maintain safe work practices in line with WHS requirements • Communicate professionally with site contacts and project teams • Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas clean, organised, and compliant About You We’re looking for someone who: • Has experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or carpenter • Holds a Certificate III • Is self-motivated and possesses a strong work ethic with excellent time management skills • Is well presented, punctual, and efficient • Is confident working across commercial environments • Takes pride in neat, high-quality workmanship • Can work independently and manage their day effectively • Has strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Is reliable, professional, and safety-focused • Communicates well with clients, supervisors, and team members Licences & Requirements • Current Driver’s Licence – essential • Certificate III – preferred • Carpentry / Handyman experience – essential • Working with Children Card – required or willing to obtain • White Card – required or willing to obtain What We Offer • Permanent full-time role with a stable salary • Positive and supportive team environment • Monday to Friday hours supporting genuine work–life balance • Allowance and vehicle may be provided on successful completion of probation • Varied and interesting commercial projects • Professional and well-organised operations • Uniforms supplied • Long-term employment with a growing national business • Opportunity to grow with the company as projects expand How to Apply If you’re looking for a stable, well-run role where your skills are valued and your weekends are yours, we’d love to hear from you.
