The role As one of our Senior OD Partners, you’ll be at the heart of our organisational evolution. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development & Learning, you’ll join a close-knit specialist team of four and collaborate with the broader People & Culture (P&C) team. You will work side-by-side with business leaders and executives, building credibility and trust as you help them set performance expectations, champion development pathways, and foster a culture of coaching and feedback. Your work will span the full OD spectrum, from scoping and research, to design, delivery, facilitation, and evaluation. You’ll balance strategic vision with hands-on action, focussing on leadership, workforce planning, engagement, capability development, coaching, mentoring and succession planning. Your mission is to ensure that leadership potential is identified, nurtured and aligned with APRA’s future needs. The team The Chief of Staff & Enterprise Services (ChES) division of APRA is integral to the organisation, ensuring strategic alignment, effective communication and robust governance. Within this sits our 25-strong P&C team, which delivers initiatives that shape the employee experience across the entire lifecycle. The Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) team - your new home - crafts strategies that elevate everything from compensation to leadership, engagement, inclusion, capability and performance. Key responsibilities Deliver high-level strategic advice, coaching and project management across a diverse range of leadership and OD initiatives; Uncover current and emerging OD needs through research, data analysis and stakeholder engagement; Lead the design and delivery of OD programs that build a high-performing, engaged and future-ready workforce; Refresh our leadership capability framework to drive and embed the behaviours that we need for tomorrow; Define clear leadership expectations and pathways across all tiers; Identify opportunities to enhance talent management and succession planning; Partner with executives and key stakeholders to co-create targeted initiatives that fuel continuous growth and engagement; and Ensure every OD solution aligns with APRA’s strategy, reinforces our values and powers our corporate outcomes. About you You hold a degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business, or bring equivalent OD experience; You’re deeply versed in contemporary leadership and OD models, approaches and best practices; You have a proven knack for researching, designing and embedding innovative OD frameworks and programs that deliver real results; Your track record includes building and refreshing capability, talent, performance and engagement frameworks; You’re an expert facilitator and performance coach; You know how to build trusted partnerships and influence senior leaders; You bring a growth mindset and a relentless drive for continuous improvement; and Your communication - written, verbal and in presentations - is second to none.
