Description We’re seeking a motivated and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our VisAbility Therapy Services team. In this role, you’ll provide both hands-on therapy support and essential administrative assistance to our allied health professionals, working primarily with adults across homes and community settings. Key Responsibilities: As a Therapy Assistant, you will: Deliver interventions under the direction and supervision of allied health professionals in client’s homes, at VisAbility and in the community. Support individual and group programs led by allied health professionals. Prepare for and tidy up after activities, ensuring safe and smooth operations. Maintain accurate client records in our Client Management System. Assist with producing resources including researching options, printing, laminating and cleaning equipment. Contribute to process improvements and take on other duties as directed by your Team Leader or Manager. Skills And Experiences Essential Skills and Attributes: You will bring a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities. To succeed in this role, you’ll need: Previous experience in the disability and/or aged care sectors or not-for-profit environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time and stress effectively. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team. Professionalism, confidentiality and excellent interpersonal skills. Confidence in communicating with a diverse group of people. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sound administration skills.
