Synergie is seeking a talented Fabricator to contribute to a busy workshop, fabricating and welding custom trailers and components that meet the rigorous demands of heavy vehicle and petrochemical applications. This permanent role offers flexible start times and the opportunity to work with a close-knit team dedicated to quality and safety. What’s in it for you: Permanent, full-time position with stable hours (9-hour days, Monday to Friday) and optional Saturdays. Competitive pay rate of between $40 - $50p/h penalties (daily) for those with trade certificate/extensive experience. Flexible start times from 6 or 7 am to suit your lifestyle. Key Responsibilities: Fabricate and weld custom parts and fit-ups using TIG, MIG, and Stick welding techniques on alloy, stainless steel, and steel materials. Perform repair and maintenance tasks on heavy trailers to ensure optimal performance and safety. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace to uphold quality standards. Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within the team. What we’re looking for: Proven fabrication experience, preferably within heavy vehicle or custom fabrication fields. Extensive welding skills in TIG, MIG, and Stick-on Alloy, Stainless Steel, and Steel. Strong attention to detail and a dedicated approach to safety and quality standards. Current driver's licence. A Nationally recognised Trade Certificate or significant practical fabrication experience. Reliability, punctuality, and a solid work history. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
