About the role - As our SEO Executive, your job is to work closely with our SEO and digital marketing teams to improve organic website traffic and leads for Loan Market branded businesses in Australia and New Zealand. Key Responsibilities - As the SEO Executive, you’ll be responsible for leading the implementation of our local SEO strategy for broker businesses Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Drive local search traffic and SEO rankingsInput into marketing materials to help the Broker Marketing team drive adoption of our internal SEO solutions Google Business Profile and local listing optimisation Support the delivery of Local SEO initiatives, including optimisation of websites and location-based content Educating/training the Digital Marketing Specialist on local SEO best practices Ensuring all subscriptions are delivered accurately and on time Owner of data and reporting of the solution You will also support the implementation of our national SEO, AEO and GEO initiatives, with the support of our SEO Coordinator. This includes but is not limited to: Inform our strategy to address AI in search through regular research and tactic ideation Implement SEO testing and experimentation, documenting learnings and outcomes to inform our search strategy Identify trends, opportunities, and issues, escalating insights to the SEO Specialist Support with the delivery of our SEO solution: Conduct keyword research to support blog, suburb, and landing page content. Development of content as well as briefing content writers Building of pages on websites (both national and local) Implement on-page optimisation updates (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking, image alt tags). Assist with regular website audits (crawlability, indexing, broken links, duplicate content etc). Develop competitor analysis and identify opportunity areas to win on search Review existing content for target keywords, internal linking opportunities and user intent. Track Loan Market’s backlink profile and competitors using SEO tools. Assist in analysis and reporting for both the national and broker sites In this role, you’ll report to the SEO Specialist for Loan Market, SEO and work closely with our SEO Coordinator, Digital Marketing Specialist, the wider marketing team, and our broker network. This role is ideal for someone looking to move from an agency environment to an in-house position, or from in-house to a role that retains an agency-style pace and variety. 2 years of SEO experience Strong knowledge of and experience in implementing local SEO strategies - including on-page, technical and off-page SEO Experience using GA4 and Google Search Console Experience with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog and SEMRush Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across different stakeholders Passion for search and interested in keeping abreast of changes in the search environment (SEO, AEO, GEO) Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) would be valuable
