The Demi Chef is responsible for cooking and serving general and specialised meals for guests according to menu guidelines, recipes and direction from the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef. You will bring a flair for creativity and a love for culinary pleasure, are an enthusiastic team player who is not just skilled in the kitchen but also passionate about delivering top-notch service and contributing to the resort magic. This full-time role requires you to relocate and live on the island at Kingfisher Bay Resort. Skills, Qualifications & Experience Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent higher education (required) Food Safety Course (Essential) Responsible Service of Alcohol (preferred) Minimum 2-years in a Demi Chef role (preferred) The ability to work across a broad rostering system Advanced communication and organisational skills Efficient and effective time management skills Demonstrated experience in a high-volume kitchen environment Experience working in buffet restaurants Previous experience within multi outlet resort / hotel environment About us K'gari is a World Heritage listed island off Fraser Coast, Queensland, Australia.
