A little bit about the role The Procurement Partner supports the Procurement Manager in delivering efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement outcomes. You will focus on assisting stakeholders with procurement planning and execution, coordinating supplier engagement and ensuring adherence to organisational policies and compliance requirements. The position is primarily a support role, providing guidance on processes, maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with strategic decisions. Your responsibilities: Provide procurement advice and support the delivery of the Procurement Pipeline, including assisting in implementing procurement strategies and processes aligned with organisational goals. Support procurement and contract activities (RFTs’, RFQs, EOIs and contract adminstration) in line with Delegation of Authority and maintain accurate records in procurement systems (e.g.ReadyContracts,). Collaborate with internal stakeholders to guide procurement processes and ensure smooth communication and delivery. Support risk, compliance and probity requirements, including evaluations and adherence to procurement policies. Assist with contract administration, reporting, budget tracking and continuous improvement initiatives. Undertake additional duties as directed by the Procurement Manager or delegate. Stay informed on procurement trends, best practices and emerging technologies. About you You are a proactive and detail-oriented procurement professional with a solid understanding of procurement principles, compliance requirements and contract management. You bring strong organisational and communication skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers. With a high level of integrity and a customer-focused approach, you are comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, while remaining committed to organisational values and continuous improvement. More specifically you will have: Demonstrated experience in procurement support roles. Experience in not-for-profit, government or local government sectors (advantageous). Qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business Administration (advantageous). Understanding of procurement principles, compliance requirements and probity standards. Experience in tendering, contract administration and supplier management. Strong organisationaland analytical skills, attention to detail and proficient with procurement systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to build collaborative relationships, communicate effectively and work under pressure with resilience and professionalism. Why work for us?
