About the Role: As a Sample Receipt Officer, you will join our Chemistry team in Rydalmere that strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results on time and by maintaining strong relationships with their clients. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 9AM to 5:15PM. The ideal candidate will be flexible with their available days and hours. The role will be responsible for: Receiving and logging samples in line with quality standards. Performing routine sample preparation and basic chemistry analysis. Entering data into our LIMS system and preparing custom reports (Word/Excel). Handling day-to-day admin tasks such as emails, filing, printing, labelling. Responding to client requests and coordinating with the Client Services Team. Maintaining lab cleanliness and managing consumables and purchase orders. The essentials: Previous experience in a lab or administrative support environment. Strong interpersonal and client service skills. Comfortable working in a dynamic role that includes both computer-based and lab-based tasks. Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain productivity under pressure. Excellent computer literacy and familiarity with data entry systems (LIMS experience a plus). High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow SOPs accurately. Proactive, flexible, and comfortable working both independently and within a team.
