Belles Hot Chicken is hiring a Graduate Accountant to own the internal accounts for our iconic group. From daily bookkeeping to payroll, supplier reconciliations and monthly reporting. You’ll be part of a tight‑knit finance team that keeps the tills ringing and the kitchens humming. What you’ll be doing Day‑to‑day bookkeeping in Xero, bank reconciliations, journals and ledger maintenance. Process accounts payable and receivables supplier invoices, payment runs and invoice queries. Run payroll and superannuation processing Prepare monthly month‑end packs and assist with P&L reviews, variance analysis and cost‑control insights. Support sales & POS reconciliations and inventory costing close‑outs. Help implement process improvements and automation to make life easier for the team. Work with external accountants on BAS, tax lodgements and audit support. Bring fresh ideas to the table, you’ll have voice in how we tighten processes and grow smarter. Requirements Who you are Recent graduate in Accounting, Commerce or Finance (or completing final year). Strong academic background and keen interest in commercial accounting. Hands‑on with Xero or similar cloud accounting platforms; confident in Excel (formulas, pivot tables). Organised, proactive and curious! You spot trends, ask questions and enjoy solving problems. Full working rights in Australia Team player with great communication skills, comfortable speaking with suppliers, operations and payroll providers. Passionate about hospitality!
