Your role Our Real Estate Group is an integral part of Allens leading Projects, Real Estate & Development practice and provides specialist expertise across all parts of the real estate spectrum. We have extensive experience in structured acquisition, development and sale of large scale residential, commercial, industrial and retail properties. As a member of our Real Estate Group, you will work in a collaborative environment across our national offices on market leading national transactions, and will be given excellent training and development opportunities and the support to manage your own matters and client relationships early on. The range of services provided by the Real Estate Group is varied. Your role within the team as an Associate, could typically include advising our clients on: Acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets of all property classes, including commercial, retail, industrial and residential. Leasing and lease negotiation. Commercial and industrial development and infrastructure projects. General real estate issues including subdivision, financing and advisory work. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home. About you You will have: Experience working in a Real Estate team, ideally at a well-regarded top tier firm, international firm, Australian firm or boutique firm. Experience in the acquisition, development and sale of real estate assets, alongside experience in conveyancing, retail and commercial leasing. An ability to effectively manage smaller matters and discrete elements of larger matters. A desire and ability to grow, both as a lawyer and leader. A willingness to build an understanding of clients and develop effective working relationships. An ability to establish a professional profile and internal networks.
