An even time roster 7:7 (days and nights) working 12.25-hour days with a paid lunch break Temp to perm contract after a short 6-month stint on Marbles books as a casual contractor OEM training and development on offer (even when a casual contractor) Work on the latest UG hardrock mining machinery - drill rigs, underground loaders and trucks. The Role Under the guidance of the workshop supervisors and leading hand, you will undertake a diverse role, primarily working on the rebuild and new build of underground hardrock mining machinery: 75% machinery rebuilds - major component change outs, machinery / component upgrade, commissioning and testing. 25% preventative maintenance, servicing and major repairs in the workshop. Utilizing a fully equipped workshop. Your Value Candidates will ideally come from a mining background with substantial experience working on a range of underground drills, haul trucks, and other mining machinery. However, if you come from a mobile plant background and have a good attitude towards work, you could still be suited. Heavy Diesel trade qualification (essential) C class drivers' licence (essential) A strong commitment to work and safety standards. Exceptional workmanship. A desire to further develop skills and experience with underground mining machinery. The capability to work independently and resolve issues effectively.
