About the role The Administrative Assistant provides confidential administrative support to the Infectious Diseases Department, coordinating appointments, managing patient bookings, assisting with enquiries, preparing meeting documentation, and supporting the multidisciplinary team in daily operations. Key duties of the role Coordinate diary appointments and receive and redirect telephone calls. Alert the Medical Unit Head to emerging issues and enquiries Receive and consider enquiries from a range of customers Process billings for all appointments Take minutes of monthly departmental meetings, type & distribute minutes to attendees Skills and Experience Previous administrative or clerical experience Experience in providing a confidential secretarial and personal administrative support service Work independently and under limited direction to meet deadlines High-level time management and organisation skills Experience with the use of windows and Microsoft Office products Enquiries can be directed to Amy Simek Acting Admin Manager Amy.Simek@sa.gov.au 8161 6225 Want to learn more about career opportunities at WCHN?
