About the role As a Senior Accountant in our Business Advisory division, you will work closely with Managers, Senior Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality accounting, tax and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio. You will take ownership of client work across compliance and advisory engagements, build strong client relationships, and play an important role in mentoring and supporting junior team members. This role offers exposure to a broad range of clients and technical matters, with genuine opportunities for learning, development and career progression. Key responsibilities Prepare and review tax returns, financial statements (general and special purpose), management reports and work papers Deliver accounting, taxation and business advisory services in line with professional and quality standards Support and mentor junior accountants to ensure work is completed accurately, on time and within budget Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Assist with workflow management, WIP, billing and productivity targets Identify opportunities for additional services and referrals across the Moore Australia network Contribute to process improvements, team initiatives and business development activities About you You will be a motivated and technically capable professional who enjoys working collaboratively and taking pride in delivering quality outcomes. You will ideally have: A degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business CA or CPA qualification (completed or near completion) 3 years’ experience in public practice, with exposure to accounting and tax compliance Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation principles Experience using accounting and cloud-based software Excellent communication skills and a proactive, client-focused mindset A desire to mentor others and continue your own professional development Why join Moore Australia (QLD/NNSW)?
