Join our Technical Services team at our Beta Hunt Operations on a permanent 8 days on / 6 days off roster and play a key role in building the resource base for underground mining operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Geologist to contribute to grade control modelling and resource development in a dynamic gold mining environment. There’s plenty to be excited about at our Southern Goldfields Operations with infill drilling for Fletcher Stage 1, targeting a maiden Ore Reserve in FY26 recently commencing. Drilling for Fletcher Stage 2, covering the northern kilometer of the system, is scheduled for the first half of FY26. These programs demonstrate the significant growth potential of Beta Hunt and mark the beginning of what is expected to be a multi‑decade journey for Fletcher within an expanded mine plan. About the Role Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, you will: Coordinate and oversee underground drilling activities. Design and implement drilling programs and maintain schedules. Generate grade control block models and update geological wireframes. Monitor sampling, QAQC, and ensure compliance with company standards. Collaborate with Tech Services and Mine Services teams to deliver high-quality geological data for mine planning. What We're Looking For A minimum of two years' proven experience in a Project Geologist role, ideally in gold-focused projects. Strong understanding of underground mining geology and grade control practices. Proficiency in 3D modelling software (Leapfrog, Surpac). Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively and drive a strong safety culture. Qualifications BSc in Geology. Current WA Class "C" Driver's License. National Police Clearance (within 12 months).
