As part of the Y family, you’ll help support the wellbeing of vulnerable and underrepresented communities, always acting with integrity and respect. You'll teach swimming skills to children and adults, following the Swim and Survive program and other relevant syllabi. You'll play a vital role in building water confidence and safety skills while creating a fun and engaging learning environment. Deliver safe, professional swimming lessons that progress student ability Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs and abilities Provide feedback to students and parents on progress Maintain a clean and safe pool environment Follow YMCA NSW policies, including child protection and risk management What We're Looking For Current CPR certificate AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification Valid Working with Children Check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays Experience teaching children with special needs Additional swim teaching certifications Why Join Us?
