About the Role We have a vacancy for an experienced HC truck driver to join our team. The role available is a full time, permanent position. Role Responsibilities Your new role will include: Ensuring deliveries are on time Delivering food products to the food service customers in the Sydney metro area Occasionally lifting cartons weighing 15 – 20kg Maintaining professional and friendly customer service to all BEC customers Assist other team members when necessary, to load their vehicles Cross checking all freight being loaded against the load sheet Load the truck in reverse order, following the LIFO process Ensuring that the load is safe and secure, ready for transit Ensuring the truck is kept clean and tidy and maintained properly About You We are ideally looking for a candidate with the following key skills: Significant experience as a driver in the Sydney metro and surrounds A current Australian HC driver’s licence is essential A clean RTA record Excellent communication and customer service skills About Us Established in 1969, the business has grown to be one of Australia's largest privately owned meat operations running three processing sites across New South Wales including a pork de-boning facility and a case ready facility.
