What the role involves: Providing field-based assessment and investigation of commercial insurance losses Liaising with policyholders regarding their claims. Examining claims forms, policies, and endorsements, client instructions, and other records to determine coverage. Investigating claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, inspecting physical damage, and comparing claim information with evidence. Set loss reserves and control claims costs What experience you will bring: Strong technical skills to assess the cause and repair of damage Previous experience in a loss adjusting role, around 4/5 years Ability to produce reports for the insurer to evaluate losses Experience in building strong relationships with all stakeholders A solid understanding of adjusting/property claims Ability to demonstrate strong client relationships with your network to build business and be the trusted loss adjusting adviser What you will enjoy about the role Being part of a global leader with the opportunity to develop your future career Working with several stakeholders and being supportive of clients through a challenging time Working partly from home and onsite, no two days will be the same!
