Motor / Diesel Mechanic(Service Technician) – QLD MMT Recruitment is partnering with a large, well-established Australian agribusiness to recruit an experienced Service Technician (Motor / Diesel Mechanic) to support operations across multiple rural sites in southern Queensland. This is a hands-on, varied mechanical role working across farms, feed mills and renewable energy (biogas) facilities. It’s ideal for a mechanically minded technician who enjoys problem-solving, autonomy, and working with diverse agricultural and industrial equipment. What’s on Offer Permanent, full-time role with long-term job stability Attractive hourly rate Subsidised accommodation provided Work vehicle supplied High variety role – no two days are the same Supportive leadership and strong team culture Ongoing training and development opportunities Be part of a values-driven Australian-owned agribusiness The Role Maintain and repair machinery across farm, feed mill and biogas operations Diagnose and repair diesel, petrol and biogas engines and associated systems Perform preventative maintenance, lubrication and mechanical adjustments Carry out welding, fabrication and repair of piping and mechanical equipment Assist with fleet servicing, workshop duties and safety documentation Ensure all work is completed in line with WHS and compliance standards About You Qualified Motor Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic or equivalent trade background (formal trade qualification not essential if you have recent, relevant experience) Minimum 2 years’ experience with agricultural, industrial or heavy equipment Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability Safety-focused with strong attention to quality and compliance Comfortable working independently across multiple sites Good communication skills and accurate record-keeping Full Australian working rights Why Apply?
