With 16 centres stretching from Albany to Kununurra, we deliver programs that enable young people to feel safe, supported, and connected. Our safeSPACE Connect program is expanding, and in partnership with the City of Melville, we are seeking a Case Worker to join our team. This role will deliver one-on-one case support that fosters resilience and positive engagement for young people and their families. This is a full-time position working across both the Willagee Community Centre and Fremantle PCYC. About the role: Reporting directly to the Program Lead, the Case Worker will: Support the delivery and ongoing development of the safeSPACE Connect program Provide person-centred, strengths-based case management to young people with diverse and complex needs Work collaboratively with local services, schools, and community stakeholders Review and reflect on program outcomes so we can keep improving. A minimum Cert IV in Youth/Community or related areas. Experience in one-to-one casework supporting young people, in particular with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples Knowledge and practice in trauma-informed, strengths-based and culturally safe approaches Understands the social, cultural and economic issues young people face. Basic computer skills (Microsoft office, emails, case notes) Ability to practice to the standards of WA Youth Work Code of Ethics National Police Clearance (within 6 months) & Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain Driver’s Licence required for the role.
