ABOUT THE ROLE (PRIMARY MANAGER) Oversee day-to-day station operations, staff, and contractors Manage all aspects of livestock husbandry, herd health, and breeding programs Plan and implement property development, fencing, waters, and infrastructure Lead and train a small team and seasonal mustering crews Maintain records and reporting for NLIS, NVDs, bangtail musters, and feed movements Supervise mustering, weaning, branding, and cattle turnoff to market Implement safety procedures and oversee WHS compliance Communicate regularly with the owners and contribute to planning and budgeting This role suits someone with a hands-on leadership style who can confidently manage people, livestock, and infrastructure to a high standard. PARTNER ROLE The partner will play a vital role in supporting both the homestead and the broader station team, ensuring smooth day-to-day living and administrative flow. Typical duties include: Domestic management - cleaning, laundry, meal preparation for staff and contractors Light administration - maintaining records, assisting with NLIS and stock reporting, managing station stores Homestead upkeep - gardens, lawns, and shared areas maintained to a high standard Supporting mustering or livestock handling if experienced (optional) Assisting with visiting contractors, guests, and general station logistics This role is suited to someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in a tidy and welcoming station environment, and thrives in an outback lifestyle.
