The Lorian Group is partnering with a well-established construction company to recruit an Intermediate Estimator to join their growing team based in the Brisbane CBD. This business delivers a diverse portfolio of fitout, refurbishment and new build projects across Education, Retail, Hospitality, Government and Commercial sectors, with project values up to $10M (most commonly around $2M). With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are continuing to expand their estimating capability. The Role Working within an established estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of projects. This role suits someone who is proactive, detail-oriented and enjoys collaborating in a team environment. Key responsibilities include: Preparing detailed cost estimates and take-offs for fitout, refurb and new build projects Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing Assisting with tender submissions and value engineering Supporting senior estimators and contributing to continuous improvement within the team About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Minimum 2 years’ experience in an estimating role within fitout, refurbishment or new build construction Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar Experience using CostX or Cubit estimating software Strong attention to detail and analytical skills A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment What’s on Offer $130,000 – $150,000K super, depending on experience Exposure to a broad range of projects across multiple sectors Supportive, collaborative team culture Long-term career development with a stable and growing contractor Modern office located in the Brisbane CBD If you’re an estimator looking to step into a solid intermediate role with strong project variety and long-term opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
