Position: Assistant Educator Location: Narrabeen, 2101 Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Offering: Up to $45 per hour (dependent on experience) Responsibilities: As a Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for young learners. Your responsibilities include: Support educators: Assist lead teachers in delivering a high-quality learning environment and daily routines. Assist with programs: Help implement age-appropriate educational activities aligned with the EYLF and NQS. Foster a positive environment: Encourage an inclusive, safe, and engaging space where children can explore and learn. Support children’s development: Observe and assist in tracking children’s progress and milestones, helping communicate with parents when needed. Collaborate with the team: Work closely with educators to set up activities and meet the individual needs and interests of children. Promote health and safety: Help maintain health, safety, and wellbeing standards across the centre. Engage families: Support the building of strong partnerships with families and contribute to a welcoming centre community. To be successful in this role, you should possess: Hold a COMPLETED Cert III or Diploma Childcare Qualification ( 0 - 5 years) A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) Have at least 2 years ' experience A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
