Job Description Minor Hotels are seeking a dynamic and strategic Area Director of Sales – Queensland to lead and execute cluster sales strategies across our Queensland portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Field Sales, this senior leadership role is responsible for delivering budgeted top-line revenue, driving profitability, and leading high-performing sales teams. This role suits a commercially astute sales leader with strong industry relationships, proven leadership capability, and a passion for driving results across multiple properties. Key responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans in collaboration with Revenue and Commercial leadership Lead, coach and develop the sales and events teams to achieve KPIs Drive growth across rooms, catering and events revenue Analyse market performance, sales mix and competitor activity Manage sales budgets and ensure effective cost control Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and industry stakeholders Represent the business at trade shows, industry events and association meetings Provide accurate reporting, forecasting and performance insights to leadership
