We are currently seeking a motivated and supportive Employment Support Worker to join our Mylestones Solutions Garden Crew . This is a hands-on role where you’ll work alongside participants, supporting them to develop practical skills, confidence, and work readiness through real, community-based gardening and grounds maintenance work. About the role As an Employment Support Worker, you will support individuals and small groups of participants to engage in meaningful work while promoting independence, inclusion, and personal growth. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Supporting participants to complete gardening and grounds maintenance tasks safely and effectively Providing on-the-job coaching, encouragement, and supervision Using and maintaining gardening and horticultural equipment in line with safety requirements Assisting with job planning, scheduling, and delivery of services to customers Building positive relationships with participants, team members, and customers Supporting safe work practices and workplace health and safety requirements Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture About you You don’t need to meet every requirement — we value transferable skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine commitment to supporting people with disability. You will ideally bring: Experience or knowledge in gardening, horticulture, or grounds maintenance Experience supporting, coaching, or supervising others (including people with disability) Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work independently, use initiative, and problem-solve Good organisational and time-management skills An understanding of workplace health and safety practices A current C Class driver’s licence Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance are required to commence — support to obtain these can be provided.
