Description of the role: We’re seeking a Client Services Specialist to join our Business Advisory team. In this role you’ll act as a key point of contact for clients, managing client relationships and ensuring the delivery of quality accounting services. This role supports both clients and internal teams by handling client queries, documentation, and service follow-up. What makes you ‘just right’: 5 years of experience in client services or accounting support roles. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Good understanding of accounting processes and client service requirements. Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships. Proficiency in accounting software and CRM platforms. What your day might look like: Manage client files and ensure documentation is complete and accurate. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and respond to inquiries. Provide day-to-day administrative support to Partners. Manage calendars, schedule internal and client meetings, and handle meeting logistics. Prepare and issue client correspondence including engagement letters and invoices. Assist with client reporting and ensure timely delivery of services. Maintain and update client records and CRM systems. Draft routine correspondence, client emails, and internal memos. Prepare client engagement packs, update client databases, and maintain records in compliance with firm policies. Assist in billing processes: generate draft bills, track WIP, and liaise with accounts for follow-ups. Coordinate travel and accommodation for staff attending conferences or client sites. Format and finalise financial reports, workpapers, and tax returns as directed. Monitor email inboxes and flag critical tasks for assigned staff.
