The Opportunity: KBR is growing its Land Systems Division, and we are seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer to support the Armoured Fighter Vehicle (AFV) Branch . This role is ideal for logistics professionals who want to contribute directly to the sustainment and modernisation of Australia’s next-generation land combat capability. You will play a key part in ensuring the availability, readiness, and ongoing supportability of AFV platforms and related systems, working across spares provisioning, maintenance planning, and technical documentation. Responsibilities: ILS Documentation : Develop and maintain ILS publications including ILS Instructions and support documentation. Project-to-Sustainment Transition : Coordinate handover activities including configuration, spares, codification, and maintenance data. Engineering Change Management : Evaluate and implement ECs with logistics impact, updating ILS deliverables accordingly. Technical Data Review : Ensure accuracy and compliance of OEM and Defence manuals and parts data. Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with Defence units, OEMs, and sustainment teams to align logistics planning. Risk & Issue Management : Identify ILS risks and contribute to mitigation strategies within project frameworks. Compliance & Assurance : Support audits and reviews against CASG standards and logistics frameworks. Continuous Improvement : Drive process enhancements and mentor staff in ILS principles and practices. As the ideal candidate you will bring: Proven experience in ILS management within the Defence sector, ideally as part of an MSP. Demonstrated experience in procurement and acquisition support, including working within CASG frameworks. Strong understanding of Defence logistics policies, the One Defence Capability System (ODCS), and ASDEFCON templates. NV1 Security Clearance (minimum) – essential. Ability to work within ITAR-restricted environments – essential. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex logistics projects. Degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline. Certified in ILS or logistics supportability disciplines. Familiarity with MIL-STD and ISO standards for logistics and sustainment. All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
