What you will get from us: As a Manager in Training , you’ll play a key role in delivering joy in eyecare. You’ll support the Store Manager and Optometrist in running a successful store, including managing the appointment book and ensuring each customer has a seamless journey from the clinic to frame selection and dispense. You’ll also be responsible for running the store two days a week on the Store Manager’s rostered days off. Comprehensive Training & Skill Development You’ll receive hands-on experience and structured training in: Optical dispensing skills Team leadership, including recruitment, performance management, and people development End-to-end store management, including wage management, rostering, loss prevention, and clinic management Coaching & Support You’ll be guided and challenged by your Store Managers, Regional Manager and Area Directors to develop your skills and reach your potential. What we need from you: Experience - Solid experience in Retail and/or Optics at a management level Passion - A genuine passion for creating amazing customer experiences, helping solve their eyecare and eyewear needs and deliver outstanding outcomes for both them and your store. Energy - A love of being in a fast paced, growing business and able to adapt to change, lead by example with positivity and a can-do attitude. Leadership - Commitment to inspiring, motivating, training and developing your team to be the best they can be. Effectiveness - Ability to effectively manage your time and all operational requirements of your store without ever compromising the customer experience.
