Key Role Accountabilities : Live our values every day by aligning your workplace behaviour with the WMQL Model of Care, the Wesley Charter, and Wesley Mission Queensland’s Vision, Mission and Values. Keep the village looking its best by delivering high-quality cleaning services in line with schedules and as directed by the Village Manager. Put safety first by following all WMQ Workplace Health and Safety and Infection Control policies and procedures. Transport residents safely and respectfully by driving village vehicles in a lawful, courteous manner, ensuring the safe loading, securing and unloading of passengers and equipment, with a strong client-centred focus at all times. Work smart and safely by using personal protective equipment, tools, and chemicals correctly and in line with policies and instructions. Maintain organised, compliant workspaces by keeping cleaning rooms and storage areas clean, tidy, and correctly stocked, with chemicals stored according to MSDS requirements. Speak up for safety by promptly reporting hazards, incidents, and work health and safety concerns as they arise. Support vibrant village life by setting up activity spaces for functions and ensuring rooms are cleaned and ready for use afterward. What We’re Looking For Experience in cleaning services , with practical knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, and safe work practices. A genuine understanding of, and respect for, older people , with the ability to work in a supportive and compassionate way. The ability to work independently with confidence , using initiative to meet service and customer care expectations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills , with a friendly, respectful, and approachable manner. A commitment to confidentiality, dignity, and professionalism , ensuring residents, guests, and families feel respected and safe at all times. A collaborative team spirit , with proven ability to work positively with others to achieve shared goals. Essential Requirements Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy) Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
