About the role Mater Private Hospital Brisbane is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO). What you'll be doing Provide inpatient and on-call orthopaedic services at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane. Provide comprehensive, patient-centred surgical care across a range of diverse orthopaedic subspecialties Collaborate with a team of skilled nursing and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives. Mater will support you in your transition to private practice, including access to established referral networks and administrative assistance. About you Essential: Specialist Registration with AHPRA. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Orthopaedic Surgery or equivalent. Clinical / Technical Competencies Demonstrated expertise in orthopaedic surgical procedures. Commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence.
