About the Team This role sits within the Commonwealth Private Wealth team, leading the Private Wealth Distribution function. You’ll work closely with the Investment Research, Advice, Platform Operations, and Private Banking teams to deliver a truly integrated wealth experience. About the Opportunity Reporting to the General Manager, Private Wealth, you will lead, coach, and inspire a team of Investment Directors and Investment Associates to deliver exceptional service and holistic solutions for CBA’s high-net-worth clients. Your focus will be on driving a seamless, whole-of-wealth proposition across all asset classes, deepening client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions. Key responsibilities include: Building long-term, trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients and executing business development strategies for existing and new-to-bank customers. Promoting the Private Wealth offering within the Private Bank network and across CBA segments to identify opportunities and meet client needs effectively. Collaborating with other CBA divisions (e.g., Private Bank, Business Banking, CommSec, Global Markets) to deliver a seamless client experience and referral pathways. Ensuring compliance with Group standards and regulatory requirements. Driving an efficient, compliant distribution framework that underpins the Private Wealth value proposition, with clear reporting on success and effectiveness. About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: Proven leadership experience in banking, wealth management, and financial markets, ideally within the high-net-worth segment (Private Banking, Wholesale Ultra High Net Worth Asset Management, or Wealth Management). RG146 accreditation in Securities, Bonds, and Managed Investments. Strong relationship management skills with experience managing high-net-worth client portfolios. Expertise in wealth management solutions and regulatory frameworks for wholesale and sophisticated investors. Exceptional leadership, motivational, analytical, planning, and communication skills. High emotional intelligence, with the ability to set ambitious goals, inspire teams, and coach for success. A deep understanding of the regulatory environment governing investment offerings for high-net-worth clients.
