Mandatory requirement The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). To be eligible, you must hold valid photo identification and successfully meet all background and security clearance requirements. Description As a Passenger Service Officer, you’ll assist passengers with reduced mobility throughout their airport journey. This is a highly physical role, with lots of time spent walking, pushing wheelchairs, and assisting passengers with luggage. Your work will include: Escorting and assisting passengers with mobility needs Operating lifting devices such as an eagle hoist Supporting passengers with baggage and airport navigation Ensuring accurate and complete task reporting through Star’s allocation system Representing both the airline and Star with empathy and professionalism We’re looking for someone who is empathetic and highly aware of their surroundings, with good physical fitness to meet the demands of the role. You should be patient, dependable, and able to adapt to changing priorities while always putting the needs of passengers first.
