About the Roles Geelong Coastal Hire is currently recruiting for Crane Truck Drivers and Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers to support ongoing demand across their operations. These roles involve the delivery and collection of hire equipment and materials across job sites throughout the region. Depending on the position, duties will include crane operation, transport, and hands-on setup and pack-down of equipment on site. Key Responsibilities Safely operate heavy rigid vehicles and crane trucks (where applicable) Load, transport and unload hire equipment and materials Conduct pre-start inspections and routine vehicle checks Complete delivery documentation, logbooks and compliance records Communicate effectively with customers and internal operations staff Assist with manual setup and teardown of equipment on-site (HR Driver roles) Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment Support efficient daily operations and delivery schedules What We're Looking For For all roles: Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) licence (minimum 2 years' experience preferred) Strong understanding of safe loading, load restraint and equipment handling Confidence operating heavy vehicles in tight or busy environments Good communication skills and a reliable, customer-focused approach Ability to complete accurate paperwork and maintain compliance standards Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks on-site For Crane Truck Driver roles: Current crane ticket (CV, C2 or C6 required) Proven experience operating crane trucks or similar vehicles Tilt tray experience highly regarded What's On Offer $30 - $40 per hour (based on experience and role) Full-time hours Supportive, collaborative team environment Ongoing work with potential for training, development and progression Work with a respected local company with strong community ties How to Apply Workforce Extensions Geelong is managing the recruitment process for these roles.
