About the role & where you’ll be working: Southern Cross Care East Fremantle is our premium flagship facility, boasting new amenities and providing a variety of social and entertainment services. Our residential site is capable of comfortably supporting up to 83 residents. This position is a full time position working Monday to Friday. You’ll be playing an important role ensuring the compliant & effective delivery of person-centred services. We want people to feel safe, at home, and receive the best possible quality care. We’re looking for someone who can confidently manage a multidisciplinary team – Carers, Nurses, Allied Health and Hospitality. More importantly, someone who is invested in coaching, performance management, upskilling and rostering optimisation. We’ll also be asking you to:- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations & safety standards Monitor & manage effective use of resources, and work within operational budgets Develop, implement & maintain policies, procedures & systems Coordinate completion of funding tool documentation Identify & manage risks. Ensure accreditation standards are met & maintained Participate in recruitment & selection of staff We’ll also be asking you to:- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations & safety standards Monitor & manage effective use of resources, and work within operational budgets Develop, implement & maintain policies, procedures & systems Coordinate completion of funding tool documentation Identify & manage risks. Ensure accreditation standards are met & maintained Participate in recruitment & selection of staff About You You may be an experienced Care / Facility Manager, or have substantial registered nursing / clinical experience and are wanting to take that next step up. With business acumen and great people management skills, you understand the ins and outs of customer service. You’ve mastered the art of influencing & negotiation, and can confidently tackle / solve problems. To be considered for this role, you’ll need:- Current AHPRA registration – Registered Nursing An in depth understanding of aged care standards & regulations Financial & budgeting skills A genuine desire to develop & lead high performing teams Well-developed communication & interpersonal skills Compassion, patience and resilience A recognised qualification in Infection Control or willingness to complete one How to Apply To express your interest, please apply with an up to date resume, and a cover letter outlining your experience / suitability.
