Skillinvest's Carpentry area is seeking two separate Trainer and Assessors to join our team in Broadford, VIC to deliver training and assessment to a range of student cohorts, delivering the certificate II in building and construction 22614VIC in a classroom-based setting for 2 days per week during the school term. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Deliver high quality training to students Prepare for and deliver training and assessment services in accordance with Skillinvest's RTO policies and procedures Adjust/develop flexible teaching and learning strategies to assist students with barriers to learning eg, low literacy levels or disabilities Maintain currency of knowledge in relevant training packages and vocational industry Be able to work and contribute to part of a team and autonomously as required Develop strong relationships with students, staff, schools and other stakeholders IS THIS YOU? Carpentry Trade Qualification Minimum of 5 years experience in the Building and Construction Industry TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) Current Employee Working with Children Check and Police Check You must have a strong customer focus and a willingness to work as part of a growing team, in a fast-paced environment. You should enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with people new to the industry and can create flexible assessment tools according to Workplace conditions and Training Package standards.
