We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - PACU & Anaesthetics to join our high-performing perioperative team in Hobart, Tasmania . About the Role In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing anaesthesia and recovery, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes across the perioperative journey. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in PACU and Anaesthetics Monitor and manage patients pre- and post-anaesthesia Collaborate effectively with Anaesthetists, Surgeons, and the wider perioperative team Recognise and respond to patient deterioration in line with clinical protocols Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance with policies and standards Contribute to a positive, professional, and patient-centred care environment Essential Criteria Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum 3 years' recent experience in PACU and/or Anaesthetics Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced perioperative setting Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and professional standards Desirable (but not essential) Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing, Anaesthetics, or PACU ALS or advanced life support training Experience in private or acute hospital settings What's on Offer Full-time, permanent position Competitive salary of $75,000 - $100,000 per annum , based on experience Supportive team culture and well-resourced clinical environment Opportunities for professional development and ongoing training Work and live in beautiful Hobart, Tasmania , offering an outstanding lifestyle How to Apply If you are a skilled PACU & Anaesthetics Registered Nurse looking for your next career opportunity in Hobart, we would love to hear from you.
