Payroll Officer $90,000 - $100,000 Super | Sydney CBD | Hybrid - 2 Days WFH Processing your own end to end fortnightly pays in a team using ADP and UKG! Training & mentorship with a company going through exciting change and growth Hands‑on payroll role with genuine progression, offering end‑to‑end exposure, mentorship and the opportunity to grow as the business transforms! The Role You will take ownership of end‑to‑end payroll for your own portfolio, processing end to end payroll on a fortnightly basis. Working closely with the payroll team, HR and Finance, you will ensure payroll is delivered accurately, compliantly and on time. Key Responsibilities End‑to‑end payroll processing (fortnightly) using ADP and Kronos/UKG Maintenance and reconciliation of payroll data to ensure ongoing accuracy Processing PAYG, Superannuation, tax, and end‑of‑month reporting Management of payroll queries, discrepancies, and escalations Processing new starters, terminations and employee changes Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements Collaboration with HR and Finance to support smooth payroll operations Contribution to process improvements and system optimisation initiatives Skills & Experience 1-2 years' payroll experience within a blue‑collar environment Experience with Kronos / UKG payroll systems Strong Excel skills and confidence handling payroll data Solid understanding and experience of Awards and EBAs Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment, ideally would have had experience working within a business going through transformation / system changes Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused approach Full Working Rights in Australia Benefits Hybrid working - 2 days WFH Exposure to a business undergoing growth and transformation Genuine career progression, with 1‑on‑1 mentorship and training Opportunity to learn end‑to‑end, full‑function payroll, trained in Super and Tax Supportive, collaborative team environment Autonomy in your role with involvement in process improvement initiatives Opportunity to be part of large transformation project Supportive, communicative team culture collaboration is key Staff turnover is very low in head office, people have been here 10 years!
